Tin Plating

Tin plating is a surface treatment that, due to the good technical properties of tin, can be applied to a broad range of different metals and products. AHC Benelux BV is your partner when it comes to the tin plating of the most diverse components or products. Thanks to our years of experience we can ensure an outstanding quality even for most complex shapes.

During electroplating, tin is deposited out of an electrolyte solution containing tin salts and with the support of an electric current flow, on the surface of conductive parts. The electrolyte’s chemical composition and the process parameters determine the layer’s properties. In our sites tin layers are applied at a process temperature of 15 till 30°C.

AHC applies two different tin processes: Barrel plating (for mass products) and rack plating (for single parts up to medium size series). These tin plating methods can be flexibly used and thus enable us to guarantee very short delivery times.
